The Kathima factory has around 2200 active members picking cherry for the factory. Located around 1800masl near Embu town, close to Mount Kenya forest. This results in very fertile soil, perfect for growing coffee. This particular coffee was chosen for its jammy and round stone-fruit quality, making it the perfect contrast to the other Kenyan coffees we have offered this year. We have found, particularly this year, that the range in flavor profiles across the growing regions of Kenya are offering more variety from this wonderful producing country.
