This lot, named after the nickname of José Manuel, meaning ‘The Fox’, comes from the Callayuc district of Peru, where coffee cultivation is relatively new. In traveling far into this remote growing region to actually find a different producer, they were made aware of this particular lot, unique in its bright and floral flavors. Once we tasted it as part of a cupping, we knew we had to offer this as part of our range. This coffee is a perfect of example of why Peru is one of our favorite origins, offering incredible range of flavors and complexity due to its high altitudes and unique microclimates.
