For our latest Kenyan release, we are looking to the Karithathi FCS. They operate two factories on the slopes of Mt Kenya, with over 4000 members providing cherry throughout the harvest season. Every two years, the factory managers rotate to different washing stations, this helps to spread knowledge and maintain consistency between the cooperatives. The coffees from this region are from mineral-rich, volcanic soil, offering perfect conditions for complex and bright coffee profiles, making it perfect for the Spring months. This coffee makes for a juicy and sparkling filter, or as a fruity and bold espresso.
