Juquinha is a farm owned by Ivan Prado and his family, located in the famous Sul de Minas growing region of Brazil. Ivan has constantly impressed with his flavour profiles from his coffees, challenging the conventional expectations of Brazilian coffee with complex and unique flavours. Due to the large size of the farm, as well as the sporadic rain, Ivan uses a combination of Mechanical and Patio drying, often deciding on the lot size and profile based on the weather and the ripeness of the cherry. This results in exceptionally complex flavours that we love to see from Brazil. This is a great example ofa specially produced lot that questions the idea of how coffee should taste, but is still very easy drinking and elegant.
